The College of Computing鈥檚 countdown to commencement began on April 11 when students, faculty, and staff converged at the 33rd Annual Awards Celebration.
As part of the final selection process, the candidates will visit campus and present a seminar addressing their broad vision for the College.
Cybersecurity master鈥檚 student Sneha Talwalkar and GTRI Principal Research Scientist Courtney Crooks are working to build the framework of an AI tool with the goal of providing support and protection to domestic abuse survivors.
The search will be chaired by Raheem Beyah, dean and Southern Company Chair in the College of Engineering.
Alex Orso, professor and associate dean, has been appointed interim dean of the College of Computing, effective Aug. 1.
